 Clyde

Railroad Tracks – The railroad tracks just beyond Green Hills Golf Course on the outskirts of Clyde are said to be haunted by four teenagers who were killed there in the 1960s. Their car supposedly stalled on the tracks while out for a joyride. A train plowed into the car as they were trying to get it to start, killing them and demolishing the car. It is said that if you go there alone at midnight and stop on the tracks, you will see their decapitated heads on the ground along with the remains of the car. It is rumored that their heads were never found. Related: Contribution

 Fremont

Fremont Middle School – A 911 call was received from the old school on a Saturday night around 1:00 AM. The police responded and searched the building for two hours, but did not find anyone there. Police reviewed the security camera footage to see the apparition of a person walk up to the old rotary phone, pick up the receiver and dial a number. Once the number was dialed, the receiver was hung up and the apparition disappeared. (Credits: Anastasia)

Gibsonburg High School – Lights in the upper room turn on and off for no apparent reason. Custodians who lock doors with chains have reported finding the chains unlocked. Mysterious footsteps can be heard throughout the small gym, sounding like someone walking on old floorboards.

 Green Springs

Green Springs Elementary – The school that originally stood on the grounds burned down in the late 1800s. It was said that some of the high school students never escaped the blaze. The school was rebuilt in 1939. Doors opened and closed by themselves, specifically on the second floor. Feelings of being watched were also reported from the second floor. Rooms 6c and 6g were particularly haunted. Kids in the classroom of 6g said they felt like someone was behind them in the room, but no one was there. The 1939 building was demolished and replaced with a new building in 2010, but according to some, the ghosts remain. Doors continue to mysteriously open and close and witnesses have reported hearing footsteps in the hallways when no one else is around. Strange pockets of cold air have also been reported. (Credits: Bethia)
