Woodens Road Residence – A former schoolhouse converted into a private residence, mysterious noises have been heard and apparitions have been seen at the home. A thud was heard in the basement nearly every night just as the residents were going to bed. A woman dressed in Civil War-era clothing has been spotted in the upstairs window and perhaps the same woman brushing her hair has been seen in a doorway of the house. Various people have heard mysterious footsteps in both the band room and on the auditorium stage.
Jamison Farm – The farmhouse is said to be haunted by a spirit known as Aunt Ella. She frequently rocks in a rocking chair, which appears to move by itself. A caretaker mowing the grass once looked up at the house to see all of the shutters open. A few minutes later, he looked up again and they were all closed.
Versailles High School – The sink closest to the entrance of the boys bathroom in the cafeteria turns on when no one else is there. No one knows for sure what the cause could be as the school was built in 2010.
