	Ghosthunters: On the Trail… John Kachuba This book by OES friend John Kachuba is fantastic! John travels across the country as he investigates the paranormal and conducts interviews…including with the OES at the Athens Ridges in Chapter 13!
	Ghosthunting Ohio John Kachuba Another terrific book by John Kachuba! John visits several locations across Ohio, conducting investigations and documenting first-hand accounts of paranormal activity.
	Haunted Ohio Chris Woodyard This was one of the first books to detail Ohio’s haunts and was the first in a series of five Haunted Ohio books. The series gives an in-depth look at haunts with the author’s personal experiences.
	Haunted Ohio II Chris Woodyard The second book in a series of five about Ohio’s haunted locations.
	Haunted Ohio III Chris Woodyard The third book in a series of five about Ohio’s haunted locations.
	Haunted Ohio IV Chris Woodyard The fourth book in a series of five about Ohio’s haunted locations.
	Haunted Ohio V Chris Woodyard The final book in a series of five about Ohio’s haunted locations.
	Ghost Hunter’s Guide to Haunted Ohio Chris Woodyard This guidebook takes you to many of the public locations mentioned in the Haunted Ohio series for those interested in checking them out.
	Columbus Ghosts Robin Smith A terrific book that details some of the well-known hauntings in the Columbus metro area.
	Columbus Ghosts II Robin Smith Robin’s second book detailing central Ohio haunts.
	Ghost Stories of Ohio Edrick Thay Another book about the haunted places throughout the state of Ohio.

Reference & Fictional Books

	Forgotten Columbus Andy Henderson Written by our friend Andy from Forgotten Ohio, this terrific book details some of Columbus’s historical places in old photos.
	Weird Ohio Andy Henderson, James A. Willis, Loren Coleman Another book that was co-authored by Andy. This book is in full color and covers strangeness across the entire state!
	A History of Moonville, Ohio… William M. Cullen This book provides a straight-up history of Moonville and tis legends without the fictional twist of the book below. The OES and our Moonville experience is detailed on page 51.
	An Incident At Moonville… William M. Cullen This fictional horror story is based on the history of Moonville. The OES and our real-life experience at Moonville is cited in Chapter 20 through a character’s preservation report.
	Snook: Murder by the Fourth Estate JT Guy This work of fiction is based on the Doctor Snook murder, featured here. A terrific read!
	Columbus, Ohio In Vintage Postcards Richard Barrett This book is filled with old postcards of Columbus from between 1898 and 1950.
	Groveport & Madison Township Richard Palsgrove This book details the history of the only town in the world named Groveport.
	Ghosts: Ohio’s Haunted Landscapes… Randy McNutt This book details some of Ohio’s ghost towns, forgotten places, haunted locations and lost arts. It is a very different read from the books above.
	Indian Mounds of the Middle Ohio Valley Woodward & McDonald A great book that lists the history and gives the location of ancient earthworks in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
	Ohio Off The Beaten Path George & Carol Zimmerman A guide to the hidden, yet interesting places throughout the state.
	Odd Ball Ohio Jerome Pohlen A guidebook to some of Ohio’s strangest places.
