June 2005 marked the five-year anniversary of the Ohio Exploration Society! In June of 2000, the Ohio Exploration Society was created, consisting of three members who explored old cemeteries around Franklin County. Not many photos were taken during the first few months of the OES. But a few months later, in October, the original six-page website was posted with photos and information on the locations we had visited. In June of 2005 there were more than 30 members of the Ohio Exploration Society, over 325 pages on the website, and more than 1,800 photos posted with thousands more waiting to be uploaded. All of this accounted for more than 350 megabytes of material on the website. The OES wouldn’t be where it is today without the hard work and dedication of our members and the contributions and support from the website’s visitors. Thank you all! And now we present the evolution of the Ohio Exploration Society website.
