General Information
The OES visited the log house on November 5, 2000. This old log house was originally built on Main Street in 1815. In 1974, the cabin was moved to a location next to the Groveport Cemetery along side the Ohio / Erie Canal. You can find this log house in the National Register of Historical Places, as the sign below clearly shows. I believe that this house may still be open to the public every now and then because it's in Heritage Park and seems to be in great shape. We looked through the windows of the house and saw some old furniture and other things from the 1800s. There were also some newer looking tables and chairs in one of the rooms. One room was totally empty. We couldn't really get any pictures of the inside because of the glare from the glass.

 Location Information: Public Park
This log cabin sits on Wirt Road, just off of Rohr Road in Groveport, Franklin County.
