Gettysburg
Cromer Cemetery - Shadowy figures have been seen inside the cemetery and people have reported being shoved by something unseen. (Thanks to David Reed for submitting this haunting).
Greenville
Bear's Mill - This mill that has been operating for over 150 years is said to be haunted. An old farmer is said to make footsteps as he walks on the old wood floorboards on the upper levels.
McMecham Road - The homes built on this road are said to have been built atop old burial grounds. Many of the homes are haunted because of this. Some witnesses who were walking along the road at night claim to have been chased off the burial grounds by dark, shadowy figures.
Memorial Hall - This place for plays and musicals is said to be haunted by an old man who fell to his death changing one of the high light bulbs hanging from the ceiling.
Water Street Residence
- A home built in the early 1900s on Water Street is haunted by the spirit of a
woman. She has been seen and heard on several occasions.

West Water Street Boulder - The boulder is said to have an Indian girl buried beneath it. She was supposedly sexually assaulted by soldiers stationed at Fort Greenville and later committed suicide. Her ghost now roams the area.
Pitsburg
Franklin-Monroe High School - The band room and the auditorium are particularly haunted at this high school. Students, teachers, and janitors have heard a piano playing in the auditorium when no one is in there. The elevator just outside of the auditorium opens and closes for no apparent reason. Various people have heard mysterious footsteps in the band room and on the auditorium stage.
Versailles
Jamison Farm - The farmhouse is said to be haunted by a spirit known as Aunt Ella. She frequently rocks in a rocking chair, which appears to move by itself with no reason to witnesses. A caretaker mowing the grass once looked up at the house to see all the shutters open. A few minutes later he looked up again and they were all closed.
