| The OES visited Clime Cemetery on November 15, 2001. Setting off of Clime Road in Columbus, this cemetery is hard to spot unless you're looking for it. The cemetery dates back to 1840 with some notable people buried there. Adam Alkire and Conrad Clime are two of them. They helped establish the area on the west side of Columbus and both have roads in their names. The fence to the cemetery was partially knocked over when we visited. There were some tombstones that were also knocked over. It would be nice if the city, township, or county would take better care of cemeteries like this one. |
