Lima
Cry Baby Bridge - Also known as Greely Chapel Bridge, it is just outside of Lima, a few miles down some back-roads. There are three stories associated with this bridge. In the first story, the bridge is where a mom and her baby died in an automobile accident on Halloween night at midnight. It is said that if one goes back to the bridge on Halloween night at midnight, you can hear the baby crying and the sound of it's rattler. The second story involves the murders of a carload of teenagers. Their remains were scattered around the area surrounding the bridge by whatever or whoever killed them. The driver's body was supposedly hung on the stop sign, and the stop sign is said to bleed, even after being replaced multiple times. And then thirdly, although not as common, some people believe the bridge is a place where you can encounter the infamous Bloody Mary.
Irving Elementary School - There are reports from this school indicating a ghost of a child that plays with basketballs. Sometimes a basketball can be heard dribbling, and when inspected upon, no one is there. Other children have seen people stop dead in their tracks and fall over.
Lima Correctional Institute - Many inmates have reported hearing voices and seeing unusual things as they sit and talk or listen to music. One ghost is said to tuck prisoners in at night. The other, more noticeable ghost is that of a woman who worked in the prison years ago. She is said to bring the inmates food, and once, a guard even looked up the employee number he saw on her shirt. That's how they found out that she was a former employee of the prison. Update: Currently closed, but rumored to be re-opening as a State Mental Hospital.
Little Boy Tombstone - Somewhere around Lima, there is a cemetery where the image of a murdered boy appears on one of the tombstones. It is said that he interrupted a pair of grave robbers in the act, so they killed him and buried him in a recently discovered grave. The boy's picture appeared on a tombstone not long after the murder and could not be removed. During the day, the boy seems to be smiling, but at night, he is sad and miserable.
Tuberculosis Hospital - It is said that if you go into the basement of the building at night, you can see dead bodies laying around as well as other spooky things. Ghosts of former patients wearing nightgowns have also been seen. It has been reported that very few people can make it to the third floor of the hospital for some reason.
Spencerville
Bloody Bridge - The bridge crosses the old Miami / Erie Canal. Years ago when the canal was still active, a man named Bill killed two lovers, Minnie and Jack, with an axe. Minnie had fallen in love with Jack, but Bill had fallen for Minnie. Bill killed the two of them because he knew that he'd never have a chance to be with Minnie. Years later it was reported that an axe and skull was found at the bottom of a nearby well. The bloodstain left on the bridge lasted there until 1904 when the bridge was replaced. To remind everyone of the terrible tragedy that happened there, the new bridge was painted red. It is said that if you cross the bridge at night and look down into the river, you may see Minnie's face looking back at you from beneath the water. Screaming and splashing sounds can also be heard at times.
Spencerville Cemetery - It is said that if you sit on a concrete slab bench in the cemetery at the wrong time that ghosts will hold you down to it until you die.
