| The OES visited the Sullivant Land Office on August 25, 2002. Located just behind the Harrison House, the land office is where Lucas Sullivant sold and managed land in Columbus and Franklinton. This little brick building sat for a long time on Gay Street in Columbus, but was moved to it's present location in 1986 to avoid demolition and is owned by the City of Columbus. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1973 and is pretty well preserved today. | |
