Craneville
Craneville House - Being one of the only remaining houses of the ghost town, the house is reportedly haunted. It is said that a man's two sons hung him in the attic of the house, and that the man now haunts the home.
Paulding
Coffin Road - An old man who hated children set an orphanage on fire, killing many of the kids within. He then went back down to the road where he hung himself from a tree, which is known today as "hangman's tree". Others say the orphanage was struck by lightening, which caused the fire. There is a plaque that marks the stop where the children's home once stood. On certain nights its said that one can catch a glimpse of a child or maybe the old man hanging from the tree. Witnesses have also heard the laughter of children playing near the site and have found handprints and footprints on vehicles parked in the area.
Paulding Carnage Library - The library is said to be haunted, but no one is sure who is haunting it. Employees working late have seen people in the building when no one was supposed to be there. The police were summoned and the building searched to no avail. A man and a little girl have been seen in the library most frequently.
Paulding County Jail - An electrician working on the third floor once reported seeing the former Sheriff, John Keeler, looking at him. The Sheriff had been dead for ten years. He has been seen since, from time to time.
Payne
House on Main Street - A house built in 1906 on Main Street is said to be haunted. Orbs and shadowy figures are seen here on a regular basis.
