| The OES visited the Pancake Cemetery on October 18, 2002. Located just behind the Pancake Schoolhouse on Selsor-Moon Road, this small cemetery is in decent shape. Many of the tombstones here are from the mid to late 1800s and in good condition. The cemetery is said to contain some unmarked graves of children supposedly were killed in an Indian raid at the school on the same property. How true this is, we are not sure. The surrounding field is sometimes used for cattle, so if you decide to check this cemetery out, beware of the animals. | |
