12/28/03   This is the last update for 2003. Uploaded today is the Kirkwood Cemetery in the Large Cemeteries Section. Also added and updated hauntings for Pickaway County.

12/23/03   Two new cemeteries have been added to the website today. They are Counts Cemetery and Thomas Seeds Cemetery in the Small Cemeteries Section. New or updated hauntings have been uploaded to Erie, Fayette, Franklin, and Richland counties.

12/19/03   After a nearly two-year wait, inside photos of Parsons School have been added today to the Schools/Colleges section of the Structures. Stay tuned for more updates before the New Year!

12/14/03   A small update to existing pages today. Hauntings were updated for Hamilton and Erie counties. The links were updated and new products added to the Gear Section.

12/8/03    Added today is the Postons Farm House to the Houses/Homes section of the Structures. Plenty more updates are being prepared at this time, including more videos, EVPs, 360º panoramics, and hauntings. If you'd like to be kept informed of any updates, please submit your email address using the form above.

11/27/03   Happy Thanksgiving!! The first video clips have been added to the website today. Two video clips were added to the Civil War Camp Anderson page. They show cannon and musket fire. You may need to download the video codecs from the Downloads page, if you haven't already.

11/24/03   The Route 23 Delaware House was added to the houses/homes section of the structures today. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon.

11/23/03   Small update today as hauntings have been added Lake and Licking counties.

11/9/03    The M.M. Crites Octagon House has been added to the houses/homes section of the structures today. Hauntings have been added for Coshocton, Fairfield, Franklin, Hamilton, Lake, Lucas, and Pike counties.

10/19/03   Updated hauntings for the following counties: Carroll, Columbiana, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Henry, Knox, Licking, Pickaway, Preble, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Union.

10/17/03   Our guestbook crashed yesterday causing us to lose most of the data. Our last back-up was from January, so we were only able to restore from that point. If you've signed the guestbook in the past few months, please stop by again to sign the guestbook.

10/7/03    Updated hauntings for the following counties: Ashtabula, Butler, Hamilton, Lorain, and Wood. Also added a second story of the Ohio State Penitentiary to the Stories and Contributions Section.

9/28/03    The Otterbein Cemetery, the location of the infamous Horseshoe Grave, has been added to the Medium Cemeteries section today. The navigation menu has been revamped to provide more room for growth of the website. The structures can be found by type and cemeteries by size. As the other sections grow, you will be able to choose them by category as well.

9/26/03    New hauntings have been added for the following counties: Butler, Columbiana, Hamilton, Mahoning, Pike, and Wyandot. Three new stories have been added to the Stories and Contributions page. They include Schrader Road Tunnel II, Beloit House, and the Witch Board Haunting.

9/22/03    Just a small update today. Franklinton Cemetery has been added to the cemeteries section. It is the oldest cemetery in Central Ohio, being established in 1799. Make sure to check it out!!

9/14/03    There's a few new updates today to the structures section. Three buildings from our 2002 season were added today, they are the Harrison House, Franklinton Post Office, and Sullivant Land Office. St. Joseph's Chapel from the 2003 season was added as well. We still have over 1,500 pictures waiting to be put up on the website, so there are plenty of updates to come. Subscribe to our update from by submitting your address above.

9/8/03     The Green Lawn Abbey has been added to the structures section! It includes a 360º panoramic picture of both the first and second floor. Three EVPs that were recorded are also included on the Abbey's page. Small changes have been made to the site over the past month, but were not noted on this page. We're still working on getting video on the site, so in preparation, please download the correct video codecs at our Downloads Page.

8/7/03     A new Online Store has been added to the main page. This store features our Got Ghosts? line of products. As with our original store, all money that the OES makes will be put back into the website. 8/5/03     Added a Exploration Submission Form to the UE Information Section of the website. If you know of a cool place that you'd like to see on the website, simply fill out the form and we will do our best to bring it to you. With the success that we've had with the Hauntings Submission Form, we're looking forward to exploring the places that you want to see. We've also updated our email list; we no longer use 3rd parties to send out email updates.

8/3/03     Added or updated hauntings for the following counties: Butler, Erie, Henry, Knox, Lake, Lorain, and Stark. More hauntings and stories are coming soon. There will be many updates of structures and cemeteries that we have visited coming in the near future. We currently have over 1,500 pictures waiting to be resized and added to the site.

7/4/03     Added a submitted story about the Jacob's Funeral Home in Kokomo, Indiana to the Stories & Contributions Section. Check it out, and if you'd like to help the guy out, check out the haunted items he has for sale on E-Bay.

7/2/03     Updated the structures section with the Groveport Road House that we checked out in May of this year. Also added some new EVPs to the Haydenville Tunnel as well as a photo of an actual apparition! Check it out!!

6/22/03    Put up a Hauntings Submission Page to the Hauntings Section with a form to complete when you wish to share any hauntings or stories. A Downloads Page has  been added to the News & Updates Section with links to necessary files needed to view some material on the website. Video clips are coming! Make sure you download the proper Video  Codecs from our Downloads Page today!

6/16/03    Added an EVP to the Moonville Tunnel, as well as updating some of the commentary on that page. More EVP will be added to that page as soon as we get them converted over to the PC. Pictures of an orb will also be added soon.

5/29/03    Added an EVP we got on a recent trip to the Haydenville Tunnel. It yells "No, not that tunnel". Take a listen, it's pretty odd. We've also separated the EVP for Hope Furnace to easily downloadable clips. If you haven't already checked them out, what are you waiting for?!

5/27/03    Added multiple hauntings to the Hauntings Section today. Counties included in the update are Ashtabula, Athens, Belmont, Butler, Champaign, Clermont, Cuyahoga, Erie, Franklin, Greene, Licking, Logan, Lucas, Marion, Medina, Portage, Scioto, Summit, Trumbull, Warren, and Wood. We're working on getting more EVP and Video on the site soon, so stay tuned!

4/29/03    Added the Civil War Camp Anderson to the Miscellaneous Section of the website. The OES used a time machine to travel back to April of 1861 to bring you photos of the camp. Also added links to Ghosts of the Valley and Ohio Pics and Legend to the links section of the website.

3/30/03    Added Shrum Mound to the Mounds Section today, which includes a 360º interactive panoramic view from the top of the mound! Rarey Cemetery has been added to the Cemetery Section. And the Parks & Fields Section has been updated with the addition of Slate Run Park and Slate Run Historical Farm.

3/23/03    Updated the Junction City Prison page with 65 new photos and additional history. Added Stonewall Cemetery and Marcy Cemetery to the Cemeteries Section. Blackburn Bridge with an included 360º panoramic picture has been added to the Structures Section.

3/2/03     New Contributed Stories have been added. These include tales from the Ohio State Pen, a Williams County House, and a ghost photo from Schrader Road Tunnel. More hauntings have been added to the following counties: Butler, Clermont, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Fairfield, Franklin, Fulton, Gallia, Hardin, Lake, Licking, Muskingum, Ottawa, Shelby, Stark, Summit, Warren, Wayne, and Unknown. Also added a link to Leut's Jersey Devil website in the Links Section.

2/9/03     Updated hauntings for Mahoning and Franklin Counties. Added Portage, Preble, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Scioto, Seneca, Shelby, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, Van Wert, Vinton, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Williams, Wood, and Wyandot Counties to the Hauntings Section. Also added to the Hauntings Section is a slot for Unknown Counties, where the county of the haunting is unknown. Added a story about Milford Road submitted by Tom Glaze.

1/29/03    An online OES Membership Application has been added to the UE Information Section.

1/28/03    The OES website has been moved to a different server! We will now have more interactivity added to the site, starting with a site-specific Search Engine!! Many hauntings have also been added today. The new counties in this update include Mahoning, Medina, Meigs, Mercer, Miami, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Noble, Ottawa, Paulding, Pike, and updated Franklin County.

1/14/03    After nearly a month off, our first update of 2003 is finally here! All of the updates from last year have been archived, so if you'd like to see them, click the link below. More hauntings have been added to the hauntings section. The counties updated include Adams, Fairfield, Holmes, Huron, Jackson, Jefferson, Lake, Lawrence, Logan, Lorain, and Lucas. We've also added our first story submitted by Sara Miller from Chillicothe, many thanks to her for being the first to submit a story. We've also updated our Code of Conduct to be more specific in how we conduct all of our explorations.
