This page steps away from our traditional postings about abandoned and historical places around Ohio and takes us to a war zone. One of our members was stationed in Iraq for some time and was authorized to take a few tours of abandoned palaces, some of them just shells that had been bombed. Below you will see the photos he took while on tour. The photos are broken down to three sections. First are photographs of bombed and gutted palaces. On page two you will find photos taken from inside the Al Faw Palace and some cityscape photos taken around town.
