Welcome to the Ohio Exploration Society's website. The OES is a group of urban explorers who seek out both well-known historic locations and those forgotten with time. We photograph these locations throughout the entire state of Ohio and publish them on this website in an attempt to preserve their history. Our focus is on old buildings and structures, cemeteries, Indian mounds, parks throughout the state, and any place that is found to be in danger of being overcome by new development. To the left are the sections you may choose with locations that we've visited listed. Simply go to the type of location you wish to view and then select the subcategory. We're the first Ohio urban exploration site to offer 360º fully interactive panoramics that puts you in control of what you want to see. You'll also find EVP recordings of the haunted sites that we've come across and view videos of some of our expeditions. Some places we have visited are safe, others are dangerous. We are not responsible if you decide to go to any of the locations within this website. Many of the locations are on private property, so be respectful and seek permission if you decide to check one out. The OES offers paranormal investigations, partnering with Ohio Paranormal. Just fill out the Paranormal Investigation Form if you're a property owner that would like an investigation to be conducted.
