The OES visited the Greendale School on April
27, 2002. Just a few miles away from Haydenville, Greendale was once populated
by workers' families from the brick plant there. Now all that remains of
Greendale is a few standing houses, a few ruminants of the plant, and this old
school house. Not too much is known about the school house itself. When we
visited, it seemed to be used for storage. There were various materials
scattered throughout the building. It seemed to us that the building has not
been used as a school house for quite a while. For more on the Greendale Brick
Plant,

taking us to the Greendale School.
