Children are heard and seen running in the hallways. One room got so violent that management had to close off the room with a fake wall covering the door. Pencils have flown through the air, televisions in empty rooms turn on, and rocking chairs move by themselves. Karl Long, who built the place in 1929, reportedly hung himself in the attic of the house. Night shift employees have witnessed his shadowy figure swinging from a rope. The ghostly image of a man, possibly Long as well, can sometimes be seen hanging by a rope in the lounge area.
