Wauseon
Fulton County Historical Museum - This building, built in 1868, was used as for many things including a high school, apartment house, hospital, and now the museum. A young boy has been seen running about through the whole place. Neighboring children have knocked on the door asking to play with the boy they saw in the window when no boy was present. The ghost of a lady dressed in a Victorian blouse and red skirt is seen in the window as well. The ghost of an elderly woman who hung herself upstairs haunts the parlor. Employees even reported that one year, while decorating a Christmas tree, something threw acorns at them.
Winameg
Village of Winameg - It is said that the whole village of Winameg is full of spirits, as it was built atop a Native American burial ground. Reports of a ghostly black dog running in front of cars, and getting hit are common. When the driver looks for the dog he/she just hit, there is no dog. Some of the houses in town are haunted as well. Common phenomena include lights going on and off by themselves and televisions rapidly flip through channels. Moving toward the cemetery, the ghost of a little girl has been seen at the edge of the woods, near a pond. It is believed that some children had died in the area.
